We begin arts and crafts activities at an early age to help nurture our children’s creative spirit, cognitive benefits, bilateral coordination, and improve fine motor skills that are essential for school success in the earliest formal years. Children will engage in Montessori activities such as sewing, pin-pricking, string beading and weaving. Other activities include, stained class painting, making soaps and candles, making clay pots, melting beads, origami, making tie-dye-t shirts, marble painting and much more. Children are exposed to a variety of materials, methods, techniques and cultural forms of art. Children can also be selected to enter art competitions in the local community.
